
Robert Evans BA(Hons) PgDip MBACP (Accred), is a Registered and Accredited Member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP). Robert holds a Post-Graduate Diploma in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy along with a Post-Qualifying Trust Certificate in the Understanding of Trauma from the Tavistock & Portman NHS Foundation Trust. Robert’s experience includes several years of working within the NHS as a counsellor in general practice along with a number of charities in Cambridgeshire including Centre 33, Arts & Minds and the Cogwheel Trust.
He is currently based in St Albans and works at the University of Cambridge Counselling Service. In addition, he is a seminar tutor and a group leader at the Counselling Foundation in St Albans. Robert also works at the Maresfield Unit, one of three teams based within the Adult Complex Needs Service at the Tavistock Centre in London and privately from his home in St Albans. He welcomes all queries and contacts from those who are interested in finding out more about short as well as long term one-to-one psychodynamic counselling and psychotherapy.
